Facts of life about child proofing...
Something I came up with when I was playing MOHAA online and an AOL commercial came up on the TV:
AOL parental controls, designed for kids to keep your parents off sites you don't want them to see. A technology savvy child will always enter his own V-chip code before the parents can find the TV's instruction book If you need to open a child proof bottle-cap, get a child Just my casual observations about (older) adults and new technolgies/ideas. |
I hate those child proof caps on the asprin bottles they increse my head ache about 10 fold.

child proffing ARGH...like it still makes it hard for older people, guy i still ahve trouble with those stupid vitamins
|
when car windows only go half way down, what if i wanna jump out!
cry: when i can only stick my arms through my cot bars, damn the design, id give anything for that extra inch spacing...then the world is mine mwah: |
Damn lighters. mad:
|
Miyagi is right omfg i hate when windows gow down half way...what the fuck is the point of a window going down half way!?! so the children dont jump out? plz spare me what kid would jump out of a moving vehicle, what parent would let that happen? strap the fucker in!!!
|
You know what though? The original tech savvy children are having children of their own, so woe be unto the child who tries to outsmart the master.
Those rear windows I think don't go down all the way because of the wheel wells. I'm looking at cars out my window right now, and it sorta makes sense that there's just not enough room for that window to cram down in there. |
the window goes into the door, not all the way down to the wheel well oOo:

If you look at a typical car, the rear door has a big bite out of it because the wheel is there. |
you may be right, im not sitting by a window looking onto the street. But than why did cars not that long ago have all the way roll down windows?
|
Good point. Perhaps they were SUV's that had more room?
I just remember cars always having that feature, even way back in the 70's when I was a kid. |
I dunno, lets take a car apart and find out biggrin:
