localization
 

well i am in trouble, i had a localization.txt sent to me, but i had to format my computer last night. can anyone tell me where i can download that file, not get it from the pak6.pk3.

theres one here but its a lot of bad language...why not get the text file from the pk file and mod it yourself..make it personalized to your sever..its easy and fun to do..then you can change it when it when ever you want to keep it fresh for your players...BUTCH

What's the difference if the files from your pak6.PK3 file or not?

i waould like to download it because i am not experienced in pk3 files. i do not know how to extract them, it would be much easier to download it. if you know where a 1 is to download would you please post the link. i know how to modify it when i download it to fit my needs.

The only one that I know of that you can download is either the chat filter that I have, or custom messages files. They are both altered, so it's not worth downloading. Instead, just get WinZIP, open your pak6.PK3 file, go into the global folder, and extract the localization.txt file. Cmon man, everyones gotta learn sooner or later.

you can just use winzip to open pak files. it's no different than dealing with zip files. simple as pie.

and it's way more fun to modify the localization yourself! biggrin:
