is battlefield overrated?
 

hey everyone! i was just wondering if you guys think that bf1942 is overrated or if its as good as i think it is. fire2: M16:

I don't like it,I deleted the MP demo from my PC.

i enjoyed playing mohaa SERIOUSLY for longer. nuff said.

Well...if the full game is like the SP and MP demos, I feel it will be over rated. Sure it's a fun game, but thats about as far as it will go for me. Just a fun game. Realism and accuracy has been completely thrown out the window with this game, it could have been much more....just like MoHAA could have been. But I play MoHAA more than either of those 2 demo's.

well, it is really all based on personal opinions from each gamer.

i personally enjoy the game very much, it is my favorite game right now. which is really impressive since it is just a demo.

so, it is just my opinion that the game is not overrated. however, BW made good points as to why it would be.

Yes, very much so Sicilian. Personal opinions will differ, as has been shown (with many subjects on this forum) with this game. About the greatest thing this game has going for it is it's fun factor, replayability, and controllable vehicles. If people took the MP side of the game more seriously it could be a seriously fantastic experience. I'll have to evaluate it with a copy from work before I even think about throwing down some cash for this though. I really hope it is something more, but I'm not holding my breathe.

I like the game for the fact there is not much realism. I like the arcadie way it plays. I still play MoH just as much but I usually play that with a realism mod. Only think I dont like in battlefield is how much you have to lead you target when he is father away.

it is hitting stores in the US on the 14th.

I'm sure there will be levels 10x better than Wake. Has anyone seen the videos of Stalingrad, Berlin, and Omaha?

omaha is going to be shit, i would think.

the other levels that you mention dont look so bad.
