Hi Folks,
I think this might be the bast place to get some assistance....and if anyone can...u guys/gals can........

I have installed Allied Assault and when i click to play the game everything is fine ...........opengl works and i can play and connect to i.p`s etc

i have tried playing online using gamespy and it tells me that it is launching the game and the console opens.......then it says couldnt load
default.cfg.??? can anyone explain....i have downloaded the latest patch for the game and also the latest detinator video drivers for my p.c but it doesnt seem to want to load....

Can anyone offer any kind of assistance..as i have just got ADSL and can not wait to play it on line in other battles..

did you install it to the default location? (program files>ea games>mohaa). I believe this problem occurs when the game is installed in your root directory or something. I also think I've heard people have this problem who have reinstalled (but not uninstalled completely first). a good place to check for an answer is the activision support site since the same issue occured with quake 3 (which is the engine used in mohaa) and fixes for that might be the same. I think the site was http://activision.custhelp.com

I would do a fresh reinstall if I were you. To reinstall the correct way, read the MOH:AA FAQ at the top of this forum, there is a link for reinstalling properly.
