pk3 command (someone plz reply)
 

i have seen this refrenced a few places even on a differant thread on this forum wot i want to know is the command to check wot pk3's a client is using, ed:

i searched for days now and cant find it yet ppl are talking about it but no one ever tells u wot the bloody command is and i dont mean "dumpuser" or "clientinfo" all they tell me is the skins and some other garbage. mad:

so are ppl talking bullshit about such a command if u know it plz post it here, pm me or even email it to me this is driving me insane oOo: evil:

To tell you the truth I have never heard of such a thing. ed:

I think something like:

rcon (some word here and then the user's name)
clientinfo

I wonder if Autokick could work with this command and boot people with know (cheat pk3 files)

all client info gives u is similer stuff to dumpuser.

do u think it would be possable using the echo command to automatically search ppl using dumpuser cos it takes ages to manually do it this way ppl join u bring down console and there is the info without typing.

if so anyone got anyideas on how to go about this

Someone mentioned in a post the other day something about how MOH can be coded to try to read people's PK3 files. Here's a link to the thread. A little different than what you are discussing, but still the same subject:

Yep, I saw it there also originally, also in some other thread but no one says what the command is. I started my own thread on the subject and did not get to far. Some info on dumpuser, which is good, but not on what and I asked about. I'm not sure it exists. May just be talk at this point.

i heard there existed a program that manages to kick people from the server if they have any custom pak3's such as maps, skins, avatars, wallhack's, etc...

maybe this program uses the rumored rcon command that lists loaded pak3's...

if i find the program back maybe i will send it to someone who knows about programming and they might be able to look through it and find the rcon command (if it exists)...

bah, why the hell doesn't EA just fix the damn sv_pure command. it worked fine in q3 (or at least made the cheaters work a HELL of a lot harder at finding ways around it....).

though I guess any info is better than nothing right now to keep down the cheating lamers.

yea well that program from what i can tell uses the rcon command that gives info about pak3's

but as someone posted before in another thread, there are still ways around this pak3 checking but i would still like to know the command because it is something...

Milo, you have that program? It check Pk3 files? Where did you get it? Or could you provide a link to the thread or something? Have you tried it?
