hmmm...Pearl Harbor cause it racked up a bigger body count...overall that is...it was the catalyst that propelled us into nuclear proliferation....a ton of dead on both sides. Much more than 9-11....so from that aspect..loss of life that is...Pearl Harbor...

You really cant compare them, Pearl was an attack on military targets, WTC was an attack of innocent people. But they were both awful.

[quote:fbd22]In the 110 minutes of the attack on Pearl Harbor, our forces suffered 2,403 killed in action, 1,178 wounded in action, 640 that were never accounted for; plus, 188 planes lost, 158 damaged, and every battleship of the Pacific Fleet, eight, crippled or sunk plus other ships[/quote:fbd22]
I don't know if that us just for US Forces or if the number includes civilian casualties as well.

VS.

[quote:fbd22]As of September 7, 2002, 3044 people were presumed dead as a result of all four September 11 attacks. This includes the World Trade Center, Pentagon, airplanes and hijackers.

I'd probably have to say Peral Harbour was worse in terms of people killed, damage to property and overall badness.
