I've been accused of cheating on multiplayer TDM for the last few nights I've been playing. If anyone I've palyed with or against is reading this I want to answer all the questions and accusations made torwards me on Sunday Sept 8. Before I start I also want to apologize for not answering them in game. I can't type very quickly and I would rather play.

1. No, I don't use an aimbot as far as I know no such thing exists.

2. No, I do not see opponents as "bright yellow" but I do see the muzzle flash of my opponents as "bright yellow" just like everyone else.

3. No, I can't see around corners but I always negotiate them as if there is someone there waiting for me.

4. No, I am not shooting a "modded up" gun. One shot from any weapon availible will kill you if it's placed correctly.

5. No, I can't see you when you're wearing your "invisible skin" but your gun held at chest height makes a nice target.

6. Yes, I do know where everyone is on the map. After you've played for a while you can get a pretty good bearing of enemy positions just by watching where you and your team mates respawn.

7. Yes, I will victimize anyone that has a slower machine or connection than mines. It's the way of the world.

8. Yes, I am a little "too accurate" because I practice.

9. Yes, I do speak English as evident by this post.

10. No, I do not smoke cocks!

I think people should just shut up and play and if you still can't beat me or someone else then just accept that there might just be someone out there that's better than you.

I do that all the time. I start shooting a split second before I go around the corner. That way, if there is somebody there, I have already won.

I'm sure that most of the more experienced players in MoH:AA have run into this situation on more than a regular basis. I always find it somewhat amusing, and really, if you think about it, it is a compliment. I am a huge fan of the BAR MG. I've gotten to the point where I can consistantly get 1-2 hit kills with it every game. Anyway, to the point, I get accused of cheating on a daily basis. And yeah, it definitely does get old. But hey, that's what happens when half your player base is composed of 14 year olds, no? No offense to you 14 year olds who can display a level of maturity, mind you. As for the aimbots, yes, they do exist. I have no clue where to get one, but having seen the code I imagine that anyone proficient could produce one. It would be a simple matter of coding the crosshair to lock onto the SDK, which if I'm not mistaken has several defined locations on it? You can usually pick out an aimbot user by watching the location of their kills. Watch for someone using the Mouser/Garand who gets 95% of the kills to the head, or a sniper who never moves and gets 95% kills to the head. Also, watch for their gun to follow your exact movements. My favorite way to throw them off is to run in circles around them. If the aimbot code works like I think it does, it will force the crosshair to a certain direction, making it difficult for them to control it manually and run.

i had this the other night, i totalled 18 in the hunt, which for me is good! wathed the type coming up on the screen talking about me, and for a laugh said i was using an aimbot!! the bastards kicked me! even tho i put lol and pmsl after it!
they let me get back on and i explained it was a joke! i had a good night that night, the night before i almost launched the pc up the garden!!! couldnt kill a damn thing!
going back to the original post i dont think there is too much cheating, the guys out there know where the enemy is, and one thing i just learnt is to aim higher, every stand off i would loose, lift the gun a bit, and the death rate went right up!!
ignore the sore loosers, admit there are better players out there!!!!
ps i had most pleasure executing one of my team the other night!!! he kept shooting us in the back when we spawned! 3 of us emptied our magasines into him!!! lol

Well i dont just run around the corner and shoot like a craized maniac if no ones there. Wat i do is just lean and peek around the corner so only my head and my gun shows and i have a clean shot. biggrin: Kinda sneaky but it works rather well. Its better than saying hey im gonna walk past you and pretend your not their ok. Or just running around the corner shootin when theres nobody there. Well they can be good strategies. But i like the lean corner technique biggrin:

I use both of those strtegies, depending on if there is realism or not. I will hardly ever fire my weapon on realism, because it gives you away and you become a dead man.

Neither do I. Shooting at nothing is giving your position away for no reason at all. The leaning business is far better:) I guess that's more important when playing obj, which is what I spend most of my mohaa-dedicated time on..


As for the cheating...I would like to have you guys view on this one:
I'm playing TDM, we're on the map Algiers. This one guy (always on top of the score lists) almost gets me from a distance with his STG44, and I barely make it into that house on the corner (know what I'm talking about? I guess you could say this is one of the most important positions of that map. Teams are always struggeling to make it there...
Anyways...I make it inside, run up the stairs, where I'm waiting behind the corner. This dude comes running in, up the stairs, and kills me when he come around the corner. The excact same thing happened only a minute or so later. I got inside, was waiting behind the same corner, he up the stairs and killed me with his STG (garand won't do any good up close vs a stg:)
Believe it or not, but this actually happens a third time before map change. I get inside, but this time I'm waiting in the stairs, watching the door. Now this dude opens the door as he's firing straight at where I'm standing. He never fired before he got around that corner, so why would he do it the third time, and how could he possibly know exactly where to put his crosshair?

Reason I'm asking is because there are mods that will make it possible to see through doors and walls... What do you guys think? I'd actually like to test these cheats myself, just to see how good they are, and if it's really a benefit to the cheater. I find it lame though. I like the game to be as realistic as possible, and I've even got one of those mods killing the avatars above teammates heads. Not even the band of brothers run around with those plastic plates above their heads, but they manage pretty well without it:) (I put it on when playing clan wars though...hehe...)

I never accuse people of cheating - I've been called a cheater myself, and I know that in most cases it's just a good player on a good connection... Anyway...lemme know what you think fellas... Can I continue throwing shit at this guy?

See cause if u run around the corner shooting at nothing u might give your position away to an enemy sniper and might as well kiss your ass goodbye or if your real good run shoot hold onto your balls and hope he doesnt shoot u.

there are "doorhacks" "treehacks" etc that are relatively simple to make but it's doubtful he had anything like a wallhack, more probable that he had a friend in spectator or something, i've seen people do that before.

I just say stfu noob and blast on...Noobs are the ones that cry first..
