Newbie asking about Mods
 

G'day guys,

Hows things? I've had MOHAA for a while now but hadn't tried usung mods - heck what was I missin' out on... One question. How do they work. like I mean I download them and put them in my "main" folder, yet when i play the game they don't work. A good example is the realism Mod. I've ALWAYS been frustrated with shooting someone with a BAR or M1 and it takes them 4-5 shot untill their down. There's heaps of Realism 'Mods out there but I seem to have the problem of them not working. Whats going on? Like am I doing something wrong?

Are you placing the pak3 fiel into main or the zip file???

If its the zip you must extract the pak3 using winzip or winace and place only the pak3 into main.

And if you want to use it ona server the server must have it also.
You dont actually have to have it to use it so go to a server with this in its name CKR1.1 and play on that it will have the mod and the BAR STG will become the new version of a shotgun ;p

Ok I see what you're getting at.
BUT - With a new Mod, does it work when I load up past saved games in SP mode, or do I have to start the game from the beggining for them to work?

which one are you trying in Single player???
