really wierd book...kind of....
 

I reading this book called "The family" by Mario Puzo and its basically about miedievel Italy and the pope's family. HAvent finished yet so not sure.

Well the pope wants his daughter to marry this other son of another landlord or king however she does not know how to bed a man yet. So...... ed: .......the pope decides to train her by asking her brother, his son to teach her. Something to do with pure blood heir.....

I read most of that book recently while on a business trip. I havent finished yet, and Im not really sure I will. It is not one of his better works. Its not so much its subject matter that bother me, its just not written very well. Its a pretty harsh commentary on the catholic church (and society in general) in that era, but the church is made up of people, just like any other organization.
