where can i make a good website
 

i was wondering where i can make a good website like the subject says without paying. i have one at geocities but u are still limited to what u can out on.

You can always use something like Personal Web Server or something of that nature. It will turn your computer into a Web Server and you can put your webpages up and others can view them when they type in your IP. If you really get into it, you can by a Domain name for yourself, which really isnt that expensive anymore. GoDaddy.com is around $7-$10 a year I believe for a domain name...

But anyways, that's what I always used to use, there are downsides to it, but it's yours, and you run it how you want to :)

Its free - theres an ad banner requirement but they take care of that and its at the top of the page so its no real biggy - also free cgi support

I ahve an angelfire and netfirms site.....netfirms is my fav though.
