enemy indicator

I was just wondering if most people used the red flashing thing on the compass to tell you where the person is that injured you I was forget to use it or look at it to late.

i've never needed to use it

rudedog 10-03-2002 07:24 PM

We all know how realistic this game is too ;)

The red stuff is gone until I look up at it , but if I get sniped at the same spot a couple of times I might go to the same spot again and let him get me and watch the compass so I know approx. where he is. Then I'll hunt the sucker down like the animal he is. biggrin:

The guys on the aa.com, DOA and Chicken Boo servers are too good for me to ever worry about the compass. Usually the first bullet that hits me is the last bullet before instant death!

That compass saves my life lol. I always look at it first thing. My eyes are trained that way. ed:

That indicator and the obj pointer were th only things that kept me from killing the compass in my HUD mod. When I played stock (While making v1.0) I used it so much, because you can take 2 hits, find cover, and fight back. I use it a little in CKR, but it only works if you get hit by a rifle from long range low in your bod, because it takes to long to look up at on my hi-res screen. So, I put the compass at the bottom front of my screen. Works well, but obstructs your view a little when scoped.

Can I find that hud on aa.com red?

redsoccerdevil 10-04-2002 04:20 PM

nope. its private biggrin: I might have it as an option on version 2.0, but don't count on it.
