look at my post too i have same prob, what i think we need to do is find out where in the registry the cd key is held, once that is deleted, bingo, other wise it is a format if you ever want to play...

i have already run reg edit and deleted the ea games entries, but there is somewhere in there that holds the cd key info, i think that is what i have to delete, but i dont know where in the registry...

nope no ini files, I read somewhere on allied assault newsgroups there was a registry entry to delete, but I have done a search through registry and deleted all the ea entries, still cant reinstall
