256mb of ram

FPS problem..

i have a PIII@900mhz, 256mb ram, GeForce 4 mx(41.09 drivers), enough HD, windows xp......and im getting very very low fps for example in the bridge i get like 15 fps.... oOo: anyway to fix this?...
