Definately go 1.4 GHz and up AMD Palomino (Athlon XP), or (2.2 GHz Northwood Core P4 if you're rich, although a 1.667GHz Palomino will keep up with it at half the cost)...

I agree with Mange, upgrade that video card, if your stuck for cash go for a Ti-200, otherwise do either an ATI8500 or a Ti-500.

Processor won't last for much longer though, Doom 3 is on it's way...

I don't think I'll be disappointed by the game. I love the SP demo, been playing it every chance I get, so the full version can only get better. Later patches will likely fix...
