This isn't hard, just takes a while to go through all of the files. Here, I'll break it down into steps for you, to make it seem less complicated.
1) Open your MOHAA/main folder, right-click pak0 amd open with Winzip. Then arrange the files by name, and scroll to where the names begin with "hud_".
2) Open one hud_ file with Notepad (or another text editor) and look for a line that looks like "fgcolor 1.00 1.00 1.00 1.00", but with different numbers.
3) Replace the numbers with ones you want. Silver would be pretty much an equal number for the first three numbers (maybe 0.60?) and maybe 0.80 for the last number. Keep in mind that this will be gray and probably hard to see, but silver would be really hard, if not impossible.
4) Save the file as a urc file (select 'all files' from the drop-down list, then add .urc to the end of the filename) in a folder on the desktop.
5) Edit any other hud_ files you want in the same way. If you want everything the same color, you can simply copy the line and then paste it whenever you see the original fgcolor line. Save these the same way.
6) When you're done editing, put all of the files you put on the desktop into a folder called ui. Then, put that folder into your MOHAA/main folder.
