I don't really hate any bands, since for me to hate you I must personally know you. Besides, if they are in a band and making money I can't knock them as I wish I was in the same boat. My favs of all time, and let me tell you, to keep it to five is hard as hell.

1. The Rolling Stones
2. Led Zeppelin
3. Metallica
4. Jimi Hendrix
5. The Who

These are bands that I have listened to forever (except Metallica). My parents played them non-stop, and so of course, I was going to listen to them. In addition, they have had huge influences on the music of my generation. There durability put them ahead of the other bands that I like so much now like, System of a Down, Korn (the old stuff), 311, etc.
