How exactly does that work?

I've been trying to make some scopes of my own (I'm a noob at this) and I've found out that I have to use zoomoverlay.tga for the allied one and kartop.tga and karbottom.tga for axis, but whenever I edit the axis one, the result is a whiteish scope (which is not very pretty).
So what I really want is to use my allied one for both sides, but how do I do that?
I am by no means a modder or skinner, in fact i don't know the first thing about how to make them...here's what i did...but i'd imagine this would work for other scopes too...really simple. I just looked at another axis scope to see what tga's i needed...opened the necessary allied tga's in photoshop and fliped and rotated them so they were facing the same way as the axis ones..renamed them to kartop and bottom and presto..i had a working fuxenzoom allied scope for my axis sniper..
