Grade Point Average mr miyagi.
i dont know how english schools worked, i dont even know how scottish schools grade things now, but when i was there we had standard grades, which were the equivilent of english o grades.
my GPA from them was 2.4, 1 being the highest, 7 being the lowest.
then you go into highers during the 5th (at age 16) and 6th year (at age 17) , which i think in england were called a levels.
then after that you leave school. anyway, i dont think GPA stand for much in the UK, universitys and colleges are interested in the score you get adding up your points. i think an A pass was 3 points, a B pass was 2 points and a C pass was 1 point, and most unis looked for a student to get something like 8 or 10 points from 4 or 5 subjects.
or at least thats how it used to work until they changed the system of grading.....but i dont care, im not at school anymore.
