The creation, destruction, implementation, developement, manufacturing of technology creates MORE jobs. Problem with communism: people are inherently greedy. Communism will not and does not work because people have a concept of "fairness." For instance, lets say that you and I are both living in a communist state. If I am a janitor and you are a doctor, wouldn't you feel slighted that at the end of the day? Neither of us made money and we both get THE SAME food clothing etc.? Rightly so you might think that you deserve more compensation for your efforts. After all, it takes more skill and knowledge to be a doctor than it does to be a janitor. However, we would both live in the same sized house, eat the same food for dinner wear the same issued clothes. This is where Sloi comes in:

sounds to me like socialism. Your compensation and pay are derived from your efforts and skill. Communism will NOT work in America. Socialism might be the intermediate step between Capitalism and Communism. However, I do believe that all people must be motivated in some way. Communism is devoid of motivation (except for helping fellow man), where Capitalism uses the all mighty dollar to prod people along. SO in closing I do not believe Commnuism is possible for a long period of time. History has shown this. Socialism MAY be possible, changing everyones mindset is the hardest step. And no matter what form of government is in place, people will starve and people will die. There is no perfect solution.
