[quote="MR. SPECIAL ED":98905][quote:98905]MWUHAHA! Prepare for the attacks on both sides! I'm not to into govnt. but how I view it is, Demacratcs are more at home stuff then Republicans are more war and far off affairs.[/quote:98905]

I'll break it down to you -

REPUBLICANS - Small Government

DEMOCRATS - Big Government

That's the gist of the two major parties. Republicans believe in a small government that lets Americans handle their own affairs, i.e. decresed health care, and welfare. Democrats of course WANT to help the litle man, so they want more money and aid for needy Spanish immigrants.[/quote:98905]

Or you could say

Republicans - Rich Man. (short term- 5 year plan)

Democrats - Poor Man. (long term - plan for our childerns children)

The republicans believe that with less government interference in Big Business sector, the trickle down theory will shut the poor up. You know the more crap that trickles down, the faster the poor get buried under it.

Democrats believe that not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth. That some people actually need help getting by,(unfortantly, they set up system that is abused by to many people), that other things besides profits for the already rich is important. Also without govenment oversight a lot of companies will do more damage to the environment in the name of a qiuck profit today.

But who really cares anyway. Both parties are run by the Almight Dollar. It's not what the Reps or Dems believe in, but what the people with money tell them to believe in.
