1. It won't help as much as people expect.

2. There is a demand for cheats; there are a lot of players who enjoy cheating. You can't blame c00kie for cheaters just as you can't blame Pistol Manufacturers for shootings. Programmers don't make people cheaters, they just give the opportunity. Would there be cheating if MPC was shut down? You bet.

I think most 'hackers' do it just to show off their work, and don't really care if their cheat is used in-game. It's more of a respect issue. The better the cheats you make, the more respect you earn in that community.

3. Don't tell people they have no defense. There are always 2 sides. I doubt cheaters want respect from this community; they just play to have a laugh. You know, fun, the very reaction the game was made to garner.

Don't question his character in real life, it has nothing to do with what you do online and we both know that.

He is probably:

A) An excellent person
B) A very good problem solver.

Two admirable traits.

Cheating is here to stay; flaming cheaters only gives them less incentive to come over to the 'anti-cheating' community.
