At last someone who sees Spearhead for what it really is. It's superb for a demo, and i'm sure the full release which i'm eagerly awaiting on Nov 12th will be just amazing.

I was under the impression that EA was hoping to add a bit more teamplay into MP, perhaps a bit more realistic feel. Instead, the game is a high speed Quake-UT hybrid.

How stupid are you? Spearhead caters for both the rambo-style player and the team-player. I went into a server, the occupants of whom I didn't know, and quickly the host and I teamed up and were running around Malta together, using voice commands to communicate. We even picked up the portable MG and deployed it at several key places in the map to great effect, while the other watched the gunner's back. And it works. It's amazing for this style of play, especially on Malta (my favourite map). There are so many nooks and crannies you can use for cover, and, although I have to agree that it didn't feel very WW2 like (i'm sure there will be maps more WW2-orientated), I still felt as though I was there and part of the action. Seeing my team-mate call out a command, then following through with me behind covering his 6 was great. We won the map against the rambo-style opponents. Despite suffering losses from sniper-fire, we quickly regrouped with the new compass (which is great in itself!), and the 'Squad, regroup!' command, so that we both knew what to do. And all this happened WITHOUT PRIOR PLANNING. There are very few games that I have played that have brought out such game play from a complete stranger... the game just astounds me furthur and furthur.

And if you find it too buggy, glitchy or whatever, you have to retain the fact that it is only a DEMO. It is NOT the full version of the game. Just remember that before completely discarding it.
