in the 4th movie he didnt go with his squad at the end because he was ordered to move ahead and clear the bunkers. and you're forgeting that all the MoH games are OSS, and he never moves with a squad, we're lucky they even sent him to omaha (OSS would most likely never send an agent into omaha beach, but it makes the game better
