Umm... can you do the perfect aim thing without leaning. Sheesh. hake:
And since when is MOH:AA real life? Go join the French Foreign Legion if you want real combat, brainiac. MOH:AA is an arcade style game, whether or not you like to admit it. It was built using a tweaked Quake 3 engine! Of course there are going to be unrealistic elements to it.
Go play another game if you dont like the unrealistic elements of MOH:AA.

Everyones quite aware it was built on the quake 3 engine. Spearheads multiplayer was supposodly made with the main goal of eliminating things people didn;t like. At the top of that list was the leanstrafe around the map lameness. The realistic mode in spearhead works ok, it gives the game a sort of day of defeat feel.
Im not all about realism and i don't play americas army, what myself and others have wanted though is an upto date game styled like day of defeat and the spearhead addon in realism mode almost gets mohaa up to this level.
For the noob members around here a little info for you all. When allied assault was being made around last june all of us on the forum wanted the multuiplayer mode to rival day of defeats modes. The game didn't turn out like that. Dod has since gotten more popular and ea obviously have noticed this and included a similar mode in spearhead.
The realism mode in spearhead imo has the right amount of balance and fun combined. I don't however see this lean strafe crap as being either fun or balance, its nothing but a retarded looking annoyance. If it was top of ea's list of thing's to be left out of multiplayer then obviously more than just me gets pissed off about it.
It ruins what can be a fun experiance by (A) looking completly fucking stupid, and (B) can give lamers an advantage who are used to waddling maps like some kind of duck, no-one can deny the fact that the sight of someone walking and firing and constantly bouncing left and right is very offputting.
For those of us that want a more dod like game it just smacks of the original allied assault multiplayer modes. Id rather move onwards than have people crying about not being able to waddle like a duck in order to get every little advantage they can over people.
People complain about me complaining about this lean strafe shit. But at the same time the people whining back at me are the same people who use the lame tactics with this lean strafe shit. Try to play the game without NEEDING to have an advantage over other players, lean strafing is lame it was taken out of multiplayer for that reason and now we hear people find it "impossible" to play without it.
