Why would you want to remove the compass? In single player it points to your objectives. In multiplayer it points to the nearest objective (if TOW) and also displays where all your teamates are. Not to mention the obivous direction you're heading. It's such an important tool, IMO.

It's aimed at MP not SP.....if you can't find the TOW/OBJ after zillion times playing it.....you've got larger problems than a simple lack of compass.
Like I said.... custom variations I'm willing to do....
