If you are using a hub and NOT a router, you will be unable to share the internet connection with the other PC's. A hub is strictly for sharing a connection/network between PC's, and is not designed for sharing an internet connection, even though they say they will.

Normally, your cable provider, like mine, will only give you one IP address. If you want to connect additional PC's, you will need to either:

A) Purchase an additional IP address (Usually an extra couple of bux a month)

or

B) Get a router.

Either way, contact your provider and ask them what you should do. The hub will only be good if you can purchase 3 more IP addresses, for the other PC's. Otherwise, you're going to need a router.
