First snowstorm of the season for the East Coast and it was a doozy, broke records even.
Highlights of today;
1. Being able to cruise by the poor souls who wernt blessed with a 4WD truck like me at twice their speed. Thppppt! God I love this lil Ford Bronco II!!
2. Finding out the boss was paying me and the coworker I picked up for a full 8 hour day even though we were only on the job 4 hours (only electricians to even try to get to work).
3. Getting cocky with my 4WD superiorty and nailing a snowdrift at 40 mph while merging onto Interstate 95, sliding sideways across 4 lanes of I 95 all the while screaming "YIPEEKIYAY MUDDAFUCKERS!" and whatnot while aforementioned co-worker is screaming "OHSHIT!OHSHIT!OHSHIT!" and spinning into the median (ditch) and switching gears n pulling out like Mario Andretti without even blinking. (Anyone raised in a state with dirt or gravel roads is prolly like "yeah? so what?" :-) )
4. FINALLY being able to justify all the goddamn money I sunk into this truck because it has 4WD.
