Good job guys, you defined the term n00b, now help the guy with his problem.

It could simply be your connection fluxuating. Goto http://www.dslreports.com and run a test on your connection. Do NOT set your maxrate to 10000, use Rude's Formula for maxrate, to do this:

(Upload speed) / (# of clients * 8) = maxrate.

So, if your upload was 200kbps, and 10 people were playing on your server, your maxrate formula would look like this:

200 / (10*8) = 2.5, or 2500.
