no PMs.... nobody else can read it.

Can start and run a dedicated server and can confirm its running via autokick. Server is not accessable for external clients though.... timeouts.... no response.... pretty much no server.

Usual suspects in this order...... [1] using wrong IP [2] NAT device (ie need to map ports in router) [3] firewall interference [4] ISP port blocking.

[1] http://www.whatismyip.com returns my ISPs web proxy IP (ie not mine). ipconfig returns 198.*.*.* internal IP and 150.*.*.* which is my external IP confirmed via lookup which resolves to my ISPs netblock.... ie they own that address. Used 150.*.*.* as IP for clients to connect to without success. local autokick runs fine when pointed to the internal network address 198.*.*.*

[2] ADSL modem does not use NAT nor does my firewall..... therefore if my server runs on port 12203 then giving a client the address 150.*.*.*:12203 this should work fine.

[3] Firewall not an issue as tried with firewall configs including disabled.

[4] ISP does not block ports and permits any type of server to be run.
