If you tend to play on the same servers all the time (like I do) run a tracert to those servers to see if the problem lies with your ISP.

To do that in XP Home: Start - Command Prompt - type the following

[code:5c5e2]tracert ###.###.###.###[/code:5c5e2]

where ### is the IP of the server you're checking. You should get something similar to this:

[img]http://mohaa.cact-sd.org/aasigs/banetracert.jpg[/img]

In my case I have an unusual amount of Request timed out but I still ping around 50 on that server. Good luck!!
