Pyro, wake up. Even Hideo Kojimo was looking forward to Splinter Cell because he knows it is a better game. MGS2 was good, but not as great as you make it out to be. Over the top story line, over dramatic and WAY to many cutscenes. Splinter Cell is to the point. doesnt fuck around with bullshit cutscenes, and Sam Fisher would tear Solid Snake a new asshole.

Fact is, PS2 is NOT capable of the graphics in Splinter Cell, couldnt even come close. The tagline "Tactical Espionage Action" hooked onto the MGS franchise is a load of bollocks. Splinter Cell is true "Tactical Espionage Action" and it's setting is real world. The realism and focus on stealth is why it's called a Stealth game. Perhaps you dont like it because you simply cant play it like its meant to be played.....if you've even played it that is.
