Believe it or not, RudeDog had a paintball team back in the day, and they owned all lol. He even had a store. That was pretty much before the guns all became semi-auto. I had one of the most expensive guns, it was an autococker that I bought as stock, and had over $1000.00 of customizations on it. The good thing is a lot of the custom mods I got were discounted or gifts, and I sold it for a down payment on my new car. It was anodized liquid blue, all chrome custom accessories, low pressure, nitrogen, Dye Barrel, Agitator clear hopper (16V?), dragons back, cut gills, beaver tail, the works. I wish I still had a picture of this gun, it was friggin beautiful. But hence, the sport is just too damn expensive, and if you get married lol you'll never be able to play again.
