Hmmm, 500 arrested in an area that the article says contains 600,000 Iranian immigrants. Sounds pretty statistically insignificant. Therefore two things are obvious. One is that the vast majority of the immigrants had the proper visas. Two that the US government allows vast numbers of non-citizens to live and work in the US and treats them more fairly than most, if not all, of the other countries in the world. Even though we are in a state of war and even though we were attacked we still allow all of these people to live here, for the most part unmolested.
BTW - I know a few Cajuns who say that Canada doesn't have a history of tolerating other cultures etc. Maybe I ought to get one of them to post here. (For those not in the know - the reason Louisiana is heavily Cajun is because Canada rounded them all up and kicked them out of the country - Canada's loss, our gain, great food.)
