Soldier, in the options screen for the key bindings (the radio at the main menu), if you scroll down you will see a bunch of commands starting in "MP" This means they can only be used in Multiplayer games and not single player (SP).

So, just bind your keys for "MP Lean Left" and "MP Lean Right".
