Yeah, that movie is very inncorrect, except for the costumes. A friend of one of my mother's friends owns a company that sells movie props and costumes on ebay, he got a contract to sell the costumes and props from windtalkers. He let me look at them, nearly 100% historically correct, some even looked like they may have been originals, not repro's.
