Be VERY careful of motherboard/processor bundles. Even though you get a good processor, you can get a substandard motherboard. Check the specs, see who the brand name is. Chipset, slots, AGP, PCI, check all of these things.[/quote:2f9d9]
That's why I asked him, too. But it's ASUS, but it's 400mhz FSB. If he's willing to pay 300 for items that will cost him about 260, he should just go for a 533mhz FSB board & CPU
