If you get a message saying you "need multitexturing video card", the chances are that your video card doesn't meet the minimum system requirements. There is not much you can do besides upgrading your video card... many of the graphics in the game rely on multitexturing support.

You can get a really good 3D graphics card for about $100 US these days. Installing them is pretty easy, too. I'd recommend getting one of the nVidia cards. ATi cards are getting better, and when / if their drivers improve they will become competition to nVidia, but nVidia cards have the best performance for the price you pay.
