well, there's a very easy way to accomplish the same thing without adding any paks. simply add "+set developer 1" to the end of the start commands which can be found in any game browser by clicking properties or something like that for that particular game.

for the all-seeing-eye this is a how-to:

click on the oldies folder at the bottom of the options window, scroll down to "medal of honor demo". in the cmd line box there should be a path to your game. add this to the line (dont mess with the bunnyears "") +set developer 1

my line looks like this:
"d:spelmohaaMOHAANetDemo.EXE" +set ui_console 1 +set developer 1

i also have ui_console 1 for fast renaming in multiplayer games.

anyway.. my method works just as fine as the one at the top.
