Let me see if I can properly reply to these posts.

Powell, to err is Human, but to forgive is a virtue. I hold no real hostilities towards you and will at this point let all of it go. However, it would be quite hard for me to forget what you had done or the effect you had on our community. No I don't want money from you. You're not going to play on the server anymore and that's really all I wanted. Well, besides letting everyone know that you were changing your name in hopes of somehow getting away with all of it or starting over some how. Really, by being completely honest is the only real way you're going to achieve that, not by changing your name.

Anyway, what you did that hurt the most is taking advantage of the whole community. I don't mean MOH. I mean AAN - a great deal of these guys help pay for this server, and all of them have become friends with one-another. When you came along and started wreaking havoc, you put an undue tension on that community and made the one thing that brought us together almost too much trouble. While I can forgive, I cannot forget. And I doubt you'll get that much from the rest of them.

Dr. Deleto, IMO, I don't think anything you say to them will get through to them. The more you say to them about what they've done or are doing, the more likely they'll keep coming back and eventually bring their friends. It's just not worth it. In most cases, no matter how much it ticks you off, just letting them get their thrills and then leaving is all it will take to say goodbye to them altogether as bad attention is all they crave. I would, however, make sure that you're getting logs and having your provider keep connection logs. If they make a big enough issue, I suggest filing a complaint with the FBI's bureau of Cyber-terrorism with screenshots of things they've said while they're doing what they're doing (complete with IPs).

Oh, and Powell, while it may seem that it wasn't hacking, by doing what you were doing you were committing a form of DoS. I actually watched my server empty out while you were doing this. If you're sincere about changing your ways, I suggest you PM one of the anti-cheat gurus about what you're doing so they can work on the fix. I would ask you to do that, but you understand why no one would use it, right?
