No you can't adjust the weights based on the different characters, I wish you could. But then that would leave the SAS guy, the pilot, or any other non-uniformed character seriously outgunned. The majority of players I play against/with seem to prefer the uniformed character skins though.
As for the weight issue, I would have to create some form of happy medium to accomodate the the various kit issues. Which I thought I was going to have to do anyway. But if it doesn't work very well I'll just base the movement speeds around the individual weapon weights.
So far I've put a lot of research into aquiring the information I do have, but even my resources are limited ... lol.
