Thanks guys I do all of it in Photoshop, but the backgrounds are either combined elements that I gather, prerendered images made in Lightwave/3d Max/Character Studio that I have from my collection of other peoples work, or backgrounds that I made myself completely. It just depends on how much time I want top spend on the project.
