Let's say your upload speed is 300kbps, and you have a server for 10 people. It would look like this:

300 / (10 X 8) = 3.75.

Now, take that number, add a 0, and round to the nearest 100th. Your maxrate would be 3800.

3.75,
(add a zero) 3.750
(Round off) 3800
