I don't want anyone telling an adult what they can or can't do with thier own body . On abortion , smoking , body piercing , whatever , I think an adult has the right to choose whats best for themselves .
On the issue of affirmative action however , I'm torn . I believe the job should go to the most deserving person . Unfortunately , merit doesn't work if you're not willing to give the applicant a fair chance . Affirmative action was supposed to give minorities that fair chance but the idea got fucked up along the way . Your color shouldn't get you the job , but it shouldn't prevent you from getting it either .
As far as white males saying they are loosing everything , I ask this . Who are you loosing it to ? It damn sure isn't to me or anyone from my neighborhood . Instead of blaming minorities for all he things you've lost , take a look at the real culprit , big buisiness . Republicans and Democrates have cut those assholes huge tax breaks . When was the last time the IRS cut you a break ? Don't feel bad I didn't get one either .
