MOH:AA is not really an arcade game, or a true simulation. A true simulation WW2 game, is more like WW2 Online (past all of the bugs). It's one shot one kill there, and infantry have a hard time living.
MOH:AA has health packs, and little floating team icons, not really a true simulation.
However, I think blasting the game, based on the demo, is kind of silly. We do not know what is changeable in the game, to create a more realistic session. Can you toggle the team icons, so that they don't appear? Can you change it to where you don't drop health packs when you die?
We've already seen a more realistic mod come out for the demo...simple to be sure, but it shows what the community can do to make a game more realistic.
If MOH:AA doesn't satisfy true simulation gamers (to me it is real enough to enjoy, even though I would like a true sim), then the community will be there, I am sure.
And, Operation Flashpoint's netcode stinks. Great game (I have it, enjoy it, and look forward to Invasion 1944), but has serious online handicaps.
