Here's the thing;

There ARE certain areas in the world, where technically our term for pedophilia is applicable. In the Asias and Africas for example young girls marry older adult-males regularly. That is their custom. It's their right.

Here though, especially in this situation, we are dealing with a sexual deviance. There is no "tradition" or "clan practice" going on. The industry is clearly targeting the "perverse" (to some) feelings that one gets in relation to sexually abusing a child. This is whats going on here. So certainly while the circumstances may seem similar, the situation is TOTALLY different.
