I usually go with the KAR or easy and medium, if you shoot them in torso or head they die. If you shoot them anywhere else they're down for a second which gives my mates enough time to make the kill or me to pistol whip the prick to death.

Most of my shots land in the torso or head... If I lose 40 health but if I headshoot 30 Germans while doing so, I've had a good day
