Okay, first of all, let me address the crop-dusting thing.

All I have to say is: oOo:

Virii are very fragile things. Most of the time they need a very specific environment in which to sustain life. Smallpox is relatively robust, however, it can't last more than 30 or so seconds airborne before it dies. Now, in order for a crop duster to spread smallpox, the virus would first need to be placed in a solution which can be turned into a mist. This would dilute the potency of the virus. So be generous, and say now the stuff can last 20 seconds airborne. Also keep in mind that the aircraft would require refrigeration units to keep the solution cool until distribution. Now, a crop duster would carry enough to entirely cover only two blocks in LA. Two blocks. To maximize infection, those would need to be two VERY highly populated blocks. Placing them in between skyscrapers. So, you're talking about flying a crop duster into a city, through skyscrapers, near enough to the ground that the mist would reach the ground before being whisked away by a breeze (approx 10ft altitude max). So there is one ignorant rumor dispelled.

As for "dirty" bombs. Yes, they would be terrible, but not devastating. Most of the major cities around the US now have very highly trained HAZMAT teams to deal with things such as this. Probably the only deaths would result from the actual explosion itself.

As for buying nukes.. perhaps I may have believed this.. until they said they had what.. seven of them? At 800 million a pop? Granted the Saudis funding these things are rich, but that is 5.6 billion dollars. Someone would have noticed those types of transactions, period. So, while I don't dispute the fact that terrorists may well have a nuke, I do find it ridiculous to believe they have seven of them.

Another thing which gives this away as some ignorant person trying to be cool is the mention of cell phone or seismic detonation. Bahahahaha. First of all, in any major city, there are so many cell phones, and other devices which bleed into the cell phone frequencies, that pure mathematical logic would necessitate the triggering of one of the nukes by this point. As far as seismic detonation.. hah. Non-existant. Why? Because the San Andreas fault would have already nuked the west coast by now.
