Ever since I corrupted my windows install thanks to overclocking, I feel that way about cpu overclocking. I was able to fix the problem and save my data with $80 for a new HDD and a fresh windows install, but I lost several days of my life screwing around with it. Hell, for that amount of time, aggravation and money, I could buy a faster cpu that would give me as much performance increase as I got oc'ing (about 10%).
