No problemo. Although that does work there is a much better way to have them working. What you should do is open the pak using pakscape, go to the texture location, open it, save it as a .dds and place in the same location as the other texture, save it and then play with texture compression on.
The .dds file means you can see the skin and still ahve texture compression on so not loose any quality.
(Texture compression OFF = Less quality in textures so keep it on if possible
)
