Im well aware of dissinformation and propoganda. That does not stop me from looking at this article and asking why the fuck say anything. Keep your damn mouth shut. The world has no need to know military stratigies real or fake.

No they didnt do the same thing for D-day. They didnt simply tell CNN to run a story about the invansion being at Pas De Cali. They built an entire fake Army around Patton, and completly fooled the Germans. Fake plans were "captured" by the germans, adding to the ruse.

The same thing was somewhat done in the Gulf War. By having the Marines do beach landing training. The news reported the training. It never just came out and said that we were going to do landings, it simply implied it.

Im not so mad about this story in itself, im more pissed about the seemingly endless flood of BS from the media. There hyping this whole thing out of proportion.
